We are currently working with a full-service law firm out of Surrey, looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to support the Conveyancing group.
Main responsibilities would include opening files, communication with clients, conducting all searches and due-diligence inquiries, preparation of all documentation relating to transactions using Hot Docs and eConveyance, filing documents in Land Title Office, and preparing all internal documents relating to trust transactions.
The successful candidate will be the graduate of an accredited Legal Assistant program, a minimum 3 years’ experience with real estate transactions (both commercial and residential), experience with project conveyancing, knowledge of commercial real estate and lending documentation, and knowledge of Hot Docs and eConveyance.
