Our client, a highly regarded insurance company, is seeking a VP & Corporate Secretary to add to their mid-town Toronto team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high level of corporate secretarial services to the Board of Directors and subsidiary companies. Duties will include:  working on special projects and government initiatives; supervising a team and coordinating tasks such as federal and provincial regulatory filings, agent licensing, etc.; updating global company database and internal governance website; implementing global policies, including subsidiary governance guidelines, board and committees’ annual effectiveness reviews, board succession planning, board of directors’ changes, and a variety of other tasks. The ideal candidate will be a Corporate Secretary with over 10 years of experience and excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and sound judgement.
