The nature of the position I was hired for was a 2 year contract as Executive Director, Legal & Procurement at the Canadian Tourism Commission. Luckily, ZSA had contacted me about the role. While working with Stephanie, I found her to be very helpful in driving the process forward, reminding me of expectations and deadlines of the employer. I had tried several other agencies regarding positions that they had advertised but they were slow in contacting me. I found Joanne to be extremely helpful. She gave me a good idea of what the company was looking for and gave me good advice as how to stand out from the other candidates (i.e. she advised me to send a thank you letter to the employer after the interview). She was also very attentive by checking up on me to make sure I enjoyed the place where I obtained the position. I was job searching and had been posting my resume on various websites that were looking for legal assistants/law clerks, until Dolores from ZSA replied and asked me to meet with Tania.
