Our client is one of the most significant firms in the country and is renowned for its expertise in intellectual property, among other things. To better meet the needs of its clientele and to maintain its status of always being on the cutting edge of innovation and developments in this field, this firm is looking for a Patent Agent to complete the ranks of its team of practitioners.

As part of your duties, you will take part in the drafting and patent prosecution and you will participate in the management of the intellectual property portfolio of your clients. You will render opinions pertaining to patentability and validity, and act as a business advisor with regards to the strategy to adopt. You will work with a sophisticated clientele consisting of businesses of all sizes, many of which are multi-national companies and large institutions.

You have a few years of experience as a Patent Agent or a Patent Agent trainee. You ultimately have a particular interest in business methods, also known as commercial practices, and you wish to develop your knowledge in this field, in addition to others. Being a Lawyer will be considered an important asset. Ref: 19336
