Paralegal – 12 Month Contract

Our client, an Electrical Safety Company, is looking to add a Paralegal to their team for a 12 month contract.

The paralegal would report to Legal Counsel, Prosecution to support the launch of Administrative Monetary Penalties (AMPs).

As the new AMPs regime is launched, additional support will be needed:

1)  to work with the ESA Licensing and Operations teams and support them as they intake, manage, document and process compliance matters according to the new AMPs procedures and processes.  This will facilitate consistency and facilitate smooth transition to the AMPs tool.

2) to assist in the handling and tracking of AMPS matters

3) to assist in the management of AMPs collections matters

4) to assist in the management of AMPs appeals

Our client is looking for 3-5 years of experience and due to the focus on Administrative Monetary Penalties (AMPs) for this role there will be a strong focus on writing.  With that they would like to also see some writing samples from the candidates as part of the process as well.  A candidate with a BA in addition to being licensed would be an asset, however, not a requirement for the BA.
