Job Description

ZSA Legal Recruitment is looking for a talented Accounting Clerk to join our team immediately. Based out of ZSA’s downtown Toronto office, the successful candidate will assist in recording accounts payable invoices; filing invoices; preparing financial statements; processing payroll; preparing T4, T4A, and ROE for employees; ensure compliance with government reporting requirements, including submission of HST, GST, QST and WSIB documentation; and performing a variety of accounts receivable functions such as bank deposits, reconciliations, and responding to client inquiries.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a business-related field and have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high mathematical aptitude, computer skills (including familiarity with Ceridian, Word and Excel), excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities. You should also have the ability to interact easily with people and possess a high degree of initiative and attention to detail.
