Our client, one of Canada’s key investment regulatory bodies, seeks an experienced Enforcement Counsel with 3+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in securities and regulatory enforcement, to join their team. The incumbent will act as a legal counsel in discipline proceedings pursuant to the company’s role as a regulatory organization responsible for the regulation of the business and financial conduct of its members and their approved persons, appear in hearings and settlement hearings before District Hearing Committees throughout Canada, provide legal advice to the investigations department, review investigation reports and provide recommendations for a resolution.
