Our client is a boutique law firm of 50 professionals specializing in Canadian and U.S. immigration law. Their lawyers are licensed to practice in both countries, and they pride themselves on a collaborative work culture and an unwavering commitment to exceptional client service.

They are currently seeking an experienced Immigration Law Clerk to join their team, with a primary focus on U.S. immigration matters, specifically E-1 and E-2 Visa applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of U.S. immigration law and a minimum of three years of experience handling E-1 and E-2 visa cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lawyers with complex U.S. immigration matters, particularly E-1 and E-2 visa applications
  • Prepare, review, and process immigration applications with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Conduct research on relevant immigration processes and requirements
  • Support case strategy development and contribute to client service initiatives
  • Draft and compile application materials and supporting documentation
  • Communicate with relevant government agencies as required
  • Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries
  • Manage case files and timelines from initiation to completion, ensuring timely follow-ups

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience with E-1 and E-2 visa applications
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
