- Bring an international dimension to your legal practice at CACEIS!
Our client, CACEIS, is the asset servicing banking group of Crédit Agricole dedicated to asset managers and institutional investors. Through offices across Europe, North and South America and Asia, CACEIS offers a broad range of services covering execution, clearing, forex, securities lending, custody, depositary, fund administration, fund distribution support, middle-office outsourcing and issuer services.
To better serve its needs, CACEIS is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to join its legal team.
Reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance, Canada, and with a dotted-line reporting to the Group Head of Legal for Common Law Countries (UK-based), the Legal Counsel will support the Canadian business by providing advice on commercial, regulatory and corporate matters. The role includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements, as well as supporting governance and corporate filings. The Legal Counsel also provides support to other Common Law countries on commercial matters and advises on cross-border risks and processes. In addition, the position contributes to group-wide initiatives, policy rollouts and regulatory projects, while identifying and escalating legal and regulatory risks and delivering practical, business-oriented solutions in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
Are you well-versed in general business law and have an interest in the financial services market? If you have at least 4 years of relevant experience, are bilingual and called in any province, we would love to talk with you. A dual-qualification (civil and common law) will be considered an asset well as experience working across multiple jurisdictions or with cross-border matters. Ref.: #34306
This is a mandate entrusted exclusively to ZSA. Resumes sent to or contact made with CACEIS or any of its affiliates will be forwarded to ZSA for review.
