Our client, Hypertec, is a global technology company operating in over 80 countries. Founded in 1984, it employs more than 600 people and is experiencing significant growth as a leader in a rapidly evolving industry. To support this expansion, Hypertec is seeking a Legal Advisor to support its Head of Legal Affairs.

On a daily basis, you will act as a business partner to internal teams and handle a wide range of matters related to the company’s operations. You will draft and negotiate various commercial contracts, including supply and service agreements, information technology contracts, purchase agreements, terms and conditions of sale, and confidentiality agreements. You will advise teams on contractual risks, regulatory compliance, and marketing matters, develop contract templates, and implement internal policies. You will also play a role in acquisitions and joint venture agreements, as well as in the management and protection of the company’s intellectual property. Additionally, you will be involved in construction projects in the United States and internationally, working in collaboration with external counsel, participating in the review and negotiation of various subcontractor agreements, and handling matters related to insurance and bonding.

To qualify, you must have a strong background in business law, be familiar with common law jurisdictions, be bilingual, and be a member of the Bar of a Canadian province.
