ZSA seeks a motivated, business-oriented Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic, collaborative team in Toronto. This position will work with hiring managers both in private practice and in-house to understand complex staffing needs and successfully manage full-cycle recruiting for legal positions across Canada. We are looking for someone who demonstrates an intimate understanding of the legal industry, some knowledge of recruiting, and more importantly the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and candidates while serving as a trusted advisor and advocate.
As a ZSA Recruitment Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with and act as a consultant to hiring managers for law firms and/or corporations, understand their staffing needs and serve as their advisor throughout the recruitment process;
- Foster relationships with and proactively recruit leading candidates for both junior and senior legal roles, using leading sourcing techniques and networking to attract active and passive candidates;
- Exploit ZSA’s unparalleled profile and presence in local, national and international markets; and
- Work alongside experienced consultants who are strong leaders, experts in their field and some of the best recruiters in the country.
The successful candidate will have an LL.B/J.D.; some experience of practising law; ideally some exposure to recruitment practices; and, possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and a resilient personality.
