Our client, a not for profit organization is looking to hire a commercial paralegal/law clerk.

Working with the VP, Legal & Corporate Affairs, the successful candidate will provide support on a wide range of commercial issues and, primarily in the area of contractual documents.

The successful candidate shall have the opportunity to help develop the role and responsibilities that best meets our clients objectives.


  • Provide support by drafting, reviewing, and/or editing a variety of documents against  standard templates agreements in all areas of operations, including supplier agreements, gift agreements, sponsorship agreements, master services agreements, consulting agreements and related matters.
  • Support the organization with privacy and confidentiality issues.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of legal processes and repositories of legal resources, embracing the use of technology in the delivery of legal services.
  • Maintain corporate records and minutes books for our client and its subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate different aspects of  board meetings and annual meetings.
  • Work closely with the Secretary ahead of board meetings.


  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a company or a law firm.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and develop strong cooperative and supportive relationships.
  • High level of attention to detail; Solution-oriented and customer service mindset.
  • Effective priority management skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse clientele and adapt to a variety of situations and individuals.
  • Tendency to take initiative and have a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure, often under tight deadlines, and to demonstrate composure in sensitive situations.
  • Excellent work ethic, good judgment, and good communication skills.
  • Autonomous and diplomatic.

Agile in the use of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Outlook), database management, and can work with PDF documents.
