10+ years │ Mont Saint-Hilaire (hybrid mode)

Our client, BBA Consultants (“BBA”), has been a trusted partner in the energy and natural resources sector for more than 45 years. Headquartered in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, the company has experienced year-over-year growth and employs more than 1,600 people across more than 22 offices in Canada, the United States, and Latin America. The firm delivers engineering, strategy advisory, environmental and field services.

To effectively support its leadership team and business units in both Canada and the United States, BBA is seeking a Principal Director, Legal Affairs to oversee the legal function during a transition period.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee two legal technicians. You will play a key strategic role by advising senior management on its business decisions and ensuring compliance across the company’s global operations. On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in negotiating and managing partnerships, commercial agreements, and RFPs. You will lead and coordinate acquisition transactions in collaboration with external counsel, support Human Resources with employment law matters, safeguard intellectual property and data confidentiality, and act as Corporate Secretary for the group.
