Senior Legal Counsel

Our client, the Brain Canada Foundation, is a national non-profit organization headquartered in Montreal, developing and supporting high quality innovative and revolutionary Canadian research projects on the brain.

You will be involved with the organization’s legal issues on a daily basis, spanning commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, HR support, litigation management, etc. You will advise the various internal teams on legal matters with the objective to identify and minimize risks. You will also be called upon to draft and update internal policies, to establish internal procedures, and simplify existing processes. You will also act as corporate secretary.

Are you able to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize accordingly? Do you enjoy advising and leading others? Are you recognized for your practical approach and your strong legal knowledge in a variety of areas including commercial law? If you have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, are called to the bar of a Canadian province and are bilingual (both orally and in writing), please contact us now.
