Torex Gold Resources Inc. is an intermediate gold producer engaged in the exploration, development, and operation of our wholly-owned Morelos Property, an area of 29,000-hectares in the highly prospective Guerrero Gold Belt located 180 kilometres southwest of Mexico City. The Company is based in Canada, with our Corporate Office located in Toronto. Torex is currently the second-largest gold producer in Mexico.

As we grow our Company, Torex is expanding the legal team at our Toronto Corporate Office. Reporting to the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, the Senior Legal Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary will be accountable to provide legal and corporate governance support to the organization on various business, legal, strategy and risk compliance issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant experience, have a strong background in securities law developed in private practice or in-house, and be able to step in seamlessly. Primary duties will include supporting the Board of Directors and Executive Team on corporate governance matters and processes, leading the preparation of certain regulatory filings and disclosures and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards, as well as leading the preparation and review of commercial contracts and legal support for major new initiatives at the corporate level.
