Reporting to the CEO, MEARIE is looking to add a Vice President, Legal
& Corporate Affairs. The MEARIE Group executive team serves as the corporate support unit for the business operations and employees.
This position is the corporate lead lawyer, with as many as 5 direct reports. As a member of the executive team, you will work both pro-actively and reactively with The MEARIE Group’s businesses to drive business growth through regulatory related and transactional support, build and protect the brand and the company, ensure compliance and controllership across all activities, and contribute to the development of MEARIE’s business strategy. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the legal profession and strong litigation experience. Particular knowledge in the areas of liability, property and casualty claims, competition, products liability is preferred.
