Legal Counsel

GTA | 3-8 years

Join KFC Canada as Legal Counsel and bring bold legal thinking to one of the country’s most iconic brands. In this high-impact role, you’ll report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and step into a true generalist legal position – supporting the business across a broad range of commercial, technology, corporate, franchising and marketing matters. What you’ll do:

• Wear a business and legal hat and advise on a wide spectrum of commercial, technology, corporate, and marketing legal matters
• Operate as a strategic legal partner to business teams across the organization
• Bring proactive, business-minded solutions in a fast-moving, high-volume environment
• Help drive innovation and operational excellence in a highly visible legal function

What we’re looking for:

• Strong foundational training gained at a top-tier law firm or in a reputable in-house legal department
• 3–8 years of broad corporate/commercial experience; exposure to technology and marketing sectors is preferred, though not required
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
• A proactive, business-oriented mindset and desire to step outside the traditional legal lane
