ZSA is seeking a motivated, business-oriented and experienced Legal Support Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic, collaborative team based in Toronto. This position will work with hiring managers to understand complex staffing needs and successfully manage full-cycle recruiting for legal support positions across Canada – including law clerks, paralegals, legal assistants and HR professionals.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates an intimate understanding of the legal industry, knowledge of cutting-edge recruitment strategies for attracting top talent, the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and candidates and serve as a trusted advisor and advocate. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a strong performance-based salary and work alongside experts in the legal recruitment industry.
As a Recruitment Consultant with ZSA, you will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with and act as a consultant to hiring managers for law firms and/or corporations, understand their staffing needs and serve as their advisor throughout the recruitment process;
- Foster relationships with and proactively recruit leading candidates for legal support roles (including law clerks, paralegals, legal assistants, and HR professionals), using leading sourcing techniques and networking to attract active and passive candidates;
- Exploit ZSA’s unparalleled profile and presence in local, national and international markets; and
- Work alongside experienced consultants who are strong leaders, experts in their field and some of the best recruiters in the country.
The successful candidate will have at least five years of professional recruitment experience in the legal industry assisting top-tier organizations and law firms fulfill their staffing needs. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and a resilient personality. In this role the successful candidate will earn $40,000-$50,000 in base salary, in addition to commission entitlements; and will be eligible to join ZSA’s competitive benefits plan.
