Our client, Intelcom Courrier Canada Inc. (“Intelcom”), is a fast-growing, privately-owned logistics company with over 2,000 employees across 10 provinces and 2 territories. Intelcom enables the delivery of more than 400,000 parcels every day, Canada-wide. Leading the way with its technology platform that generates thousands of optimized routes daily for nearly 425 independent delivery partners and 5,000 drivers, Intelcom allows its clients to offer their consumers a quick, reliable, and predictable delivery experience when shopping online.

To meet its growing needs, Intelcom is looking to hire a Director of Legal Affairs.

In this newly-created position, you will be based at the company’s head office in Griffintown (Montreal) and report to the Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs, Human Capital and Sustainable Development.  On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the day-to-day of the legal affairs portfolio. Consequently, your tasks will be varied, with a particular focus on commercial law: you may be charged with tasks such as negotiating various agreements, identifying legal risks and implementing internal models and processes to facilitate the smooth running of the company’s commercial activities. You will provide day-to-day legal advice to the company’s business units, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and regulations and, when necessary, manage litigation in collaboration with external lawyers. You may also be called upon to support Intelcom’s various international expansion initiatives.
