Aya Gold & Silver is growing at an impressive pace. With the expansion of its Zgounder mine and the development of the Boumadine project in Morocco, the company’s legal workload continues to grow. As a result, the Chief Legal Officer is looking to add a senior legal professional to the team to share responsibilities and help support the company through this next phase of growth.

A role unlike the ordinary

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will be at the heart of the company’s projects. From negotiating commercial contracts, project financing, strategic procurement, acquisitions, and dispute management to providing day-to-day operational support, and collaborating with teams in Canada and Morocco, your days will be varied, stimulating, and decidedly international.

You will work as part of a small team where your contribution will truly make a difference and where you will be involved in business decisions, not just documenting them.

What about you?

A member of a Canadian bar, you are bilingual and have approximately 8 to 12 years of experience in commercial law. You are recognized for your business acumen, autonomy, and practical approach. Experience working on major projects or in construction, infrastructure, energy, or the mining sector will be considered an asset.
