Working with a Canadian owned and operated company, on a massive growth path, and for over a decade recognised as one of Canada’s best managed companies.  They are looking for in In-house Counsel to head the legal function for one of their subsidiaries, working directly with the executive team of the subsidiary in a leadership role, and reporting to the Group Chief Legal Officer.

With a federally regulated unionised workforce, they are looking for a lawyer with strong Labour & Employment experience as that will be an important facet of the role.  Beyond that it’s a broad generalist in-house position, including general commercial /contractual and litigation work, while providing legal support and advice to senior management.
