We’re working with a very successful and fast-growing tech company, headquartered in Vancouver and with global reach. They are now looking to hire an employment lawyer to join their busy and growing legal team. This is a highly collaborative role requiring a self-starter who wants to learn the ins and outs of their operations and culture to drive strategic, scalable growth aligned with the company’s values across multiple expanding offices and business segments.
Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ of experience as a practicing employment lawyer in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house department and strong knowledge and experience with legal matters relating to onboarding, offboarding and the entirety of the employment lifecycle. Experience reviewing, analyzing, drafting and administering a variety of employment-related contracts, agreements, communications, policies and other similar documentation is an asset. Prior in-house experience with employment law is strongly preferred.
