Our client, Aya Gold & Silver Inc. (TSX: AYA) (“Aya“), is a rapidly growing gold company focused on the operation, exploration, acquisition and development of silver and gold deposits. Aya is currently operating mining and milling facilities at its Zgounder Silver Mine in Morocco. The company’s mining portfolio also includes the Imiter, Boumadine, Amizmiz and Azegour properties, with gold, tungsten, molybdenum and copper occurrences in the center of the historical mining district of Morocco, as well as the Tijirit gold project located in Mauritania.

Reporting to the Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs and Corporate Secretary of the company, you will split your time between securities, work related to disclosure and corporate secretarial obligations, financing and compliance. You will be involved in all aspects of work related to public companies: drafting of proxy circulars and annual information forms, filing of required documents, analysis of applicable regulations, etc. You will be involved in the governance of the company and will take part in the development of internal policies and processes. You will also participate in public and private placements, negotiate various types of commercial contracts and advise the various departments on all legal issues.
