They are looking for a Legal Advisor to join their team of professionals.

Based in the St-Leonard office, you will report to the Director of Legal Affairs in Montreal and be part of a legal team of eight people locally (including three lawyers). Most of your time will be spent on all aspects of retail and commercial leasing files: leases, renewals, amendments, etc. You will also act from an operational point of view by advising business people on the interpretation of duties & obligations of parties on a daily basis. You will also be occasionally involved in cases arising from the failure of tenants to fulfill their contractual obligations.

Are you passionate about real estate and leasing, have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and are bilingual? Do you stand out for your ability to manage priorities and work well in a team? If your goals align with the company’s objectives and have good judgment, understand how to identify and minimize risks, and work from a strategic and practical perspective, we would like to talk. Please note that you must be a member of the Quebec Bar or the Chambre des notaires to qualify. Telecommuting for part of the time will be possible for this position. Ref.: #31929
