Our client, ArcelorMittal Mining Canada G.P. (“AMEM”), is a subsidiary of ArcelorMittal, the world’s leading steel company and one of the five largest iron ore producers in the world. With more than 2,500 employees in Fermont, Port-Cartier and Longueuil, AMEM produces iron oxide concentrate and pellets for the global steel market and owns a mine, a railroad and a port. The Port-Cartier plant transformation project, which involves an investment of $205 million, is part of the company’s desire to be a leader in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in their industry.
In order to meet their needs, AMEM is looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team of 4 legal professionals at their Longueuil office. Do you want to join a company that is recognized worldwide for the quality of their products and that is committed to respecting the environment? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to provide sound advice? If you are a member of the Quebec Bar and bilingual, we would like to talk to you.
