Our client, a leading national law firm, is looking to expand its Labour & Employment group in Toronto at both the mid-level and senior level, with the option to join as Of Counsel for those seeking reduced billable hour expectations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in management-side labour and employment matters, including employment standards, wrongful dismissal, employment contracts, labour arbitrations, injunctions, collective bargaining, labour disputes, and related employment litigation. The practice places greater emphasis on traditional labour and employment advisory and advocacy work, with less focus on human rights matters.
There is no book of business requirement, though a small portable practice would be viewed favourably.
