We are thrilled to have been part of a meaningful event ‘Championing One Another: Lawyers and Allies Paving the Way to Inclusion’ hosted on 22 November 2023 organized by Blink Equity and sponsored by ZSA Canada, SABA Toronto and CABL.
This event served as a platform for thought leaders and advocates to engage in a profound dialogue on fostering inclusivity within the legal landscape and attracted over 80 dedicated and diverse legal professionals. The atmosphere was one of unified support for fostering an inclusive legal landscape.
The legal profession, often perceived as rooted in tradition, is undergoing a transformative shift towards inclusivity. Blink Equity’s event highlighted the significance of this evolution, stressing the need for legal practitioners to actively work towards creating an environment where everyone feels represented and valued.
