Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
– Possesses Law Clerk diploma/certificate
– Customer service mentality
– Highly organized and able to prioritize among competing priorities
– Proficient in Outlook and litigation document and management software
– A confident, self-starter with a pleasant demeanour and sense of humour
– Strong sense of personal responsibility
– Proactive, resourceful, learns quickly
– Attention to detail, ability to notice and recall detail in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of information
– Ability to work as an individual within a team and take initiative as required
Your job will involve supporting the lawyers in their litigation practices, including preparation of pleadings and affidavits, assisting with discovery and trial preparation, dockets and accounts, and other tasks as needed.
