Our client, Les Ponts Jacques Cartier et Champlain Incorporée (“PJCCI”), is a federal Crown corporation responsible for the Jacques Cartier Bridge, the Quebec Bridge, the Estacade, the federal sections of Highway Bonaventure and the Honoré-Mercier Bridge, as well as the Melocheville Tunnel. Its activities include the construction, rehabilitation, and reinforcement of the infrastructures under its responsibility, as well as the operation and maintenance of these assets.

To better meet its needs, PJCCI is seeking a Legal Counsel to fill a contract position ending in December 2027.

Reporting to the Director of Legal Affairs, you will primarily focus on the contractual aspects of operations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and drafting various contracts and related documents, including calls for tenders and requests for proposals, for both the construction and professional services sectors. You will contribute to updating templates and help standardizing practices across the organization. As Legal Counsel, you will support various departments in the management and negotiation of claims. Finally, you will organize training sessions and deliver presentations to raise awareness of legal issues among internal teams.
