Our client, a well-established technology and logistics company headquartered in Vancouver, is seeking to add a Legal Counsel to its growing legal team.

Working closely with the General Counsel, you will advise on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.  This includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating and various types of commercial contracts (customer contracts, vendor contracts, technology agreements, commercial leases etc), advising on financings, and regulatory & privacy issues, assisting with corporate matters and transactions, assisting on routine employment matters, and managing external counsel.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in general corporate and commercial law. While not required, experience with cross-border matters, particularly involving the United States, would be an asset, as would Mandarin language skills, given the company’s international operations and shareholder base.
