We’re working with a major BC resources company, currently seeking a Paralegal to join their busy real estate & legal team.  Ideally you will have around five or more years of experience as a real estate paralegal, with a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail and really wanting to take ownership of your work.  It’s quite a broad portfolio, including buying and selling land, leasing and licensing, as well as the ability to get involved in broader corporate work in time.  It’s the kind of role that would be great for someone who enjoys a variety of interesting and dynamic work, as you’ll be interacting with government ministries, first nations, school and universities, other corporations, and the general public.

The role is based in Nanaimo, and they are open to someone starting in Vancouver (where they also have an office) and moving to the Island in time.  You’ll be working closely with a couple of other experienced paralegals and in-house lawyers in a tight-knit team.  This is a terrific opportunity to join a family-friendly and innovative company where flexibility and giving back to the community are encouraged.
